My only nature photography project for this winter was to photograph some backyard birds and occasionally some other visitors of my backyard. Other than a couple of rare instances we got lots of snow so this winter bird gallery reflects that. All photos were taken from my hide using my Canon EOS 5Ds camera and my Canon 500mm f/4 lens on my Gitzo 1340 tripod and my Manfrotto 3030 head.
