Songbirds at my Backyard – Connecticut

I spent lots of time in my hide photographing birds at my backyard this winter. I already shared some photos last year and I’ll make a gallery from the rest of the images after winter. However, yesterday the light was very beautiful and I wanted to post these bird images immediately. Right now there is no snow so everything is really colorful. The first visitor of my feeding platform was a white-breasted nuthatch (Sitta carolinensis).

A little later a black-capped chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) arrived.

The last visitor was a beautiful song sparrow (Melospiza melodia).
