I visited Kaena Point (Oahu, Hawaii) yesterday to continue my Laysan Albatross (Phoebastria immutabilis) project. Luckily, the chicks are already hatched and I was fortunate to spend some time with this cute baby albatross. Its parents probably were on a foraging trip, so it was alone. I didn’t want to bother this little fluffy bird for a long time, so I quickly set up my equipment and took this photo.
Gear: Canon EOS 7D, Canon 300mm F/4 lens, Canon 1.4x extender, Manfrotto tripod.
