Last weekend, Gabi and I did a short leaf-peeping trip to the Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont. Even though it wasn’t a photography trip, I took my photo equipment and hoped to find a composition showing the beautiful fall colors of the Green Mountains. To help me with my endeavor, we hiked the White Rocks Mountain and waited for sunset. It was totally worth it. The light of the setting sun emphasized the gorgeous colors of fall and created a nice contrast between the white barks of the birch trees, the dark shadows under the canopies and the great color variety of fall foliage. I used my Canon EOS 5Ds camera with my Canon 70-200mm f/4 lens on my Manfrotto tripod to create this image.
